- Established as Asahi Rubber, a limited company, in Kita-ku, Tokyo.
- Established as Asahi Rubber Inc. in Edobukuro, Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama.
- Obtained 4 UL safety standards and became a UL certified factory.
- Relocated head office and factory to 283 Akai, Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.
- Built and began operation of the Fukushima Factory.
- Made the R & D division an independent subsidiary, the Fine Rubber Laboratories Co.,Ltd.(The present ASAHI FR R & D Co.,Ltd.), strengthening R & D operations.
